I’ve got a tech problem!

No – I’m not talking about an obsession for the latest and greatest tech gadgets, nor some issue I’m having with my iPhone or laptop.

These would have been my tech problems if this were a couple years ago and prior.

So what’s going on with me, then? Well, I seem to be developing a distinct disdain and contempt for technology: the super computing do-it-all phones, AI being shoved down our throats, new devices that we must upgrade to being released left and right, Alexa in our dishwashers and microwaves, and the insidious effects all of this might have on society as a whole. I’m feeling worried, angry and sometimes confused and lost (or maybe it’s the other way around).

Does this pique your interest or have I elicited sneers and scoffs?

Whichever it is, I think the ideas I have might be of use to you. And if not, they at least might make you think, and I believe that’s more than can be said for the latest and greatest coming out of current Big Tech.

Introductory post that this is, I’m not going into specifics yet. Suffice it to say, I need – and believe we all need – a little bit of a Tech Diet. This blog is where I explore all my thoughts and ideas and present them to be chewed on by the world (or, let’s face it: probably just my dog, who can’t read anyway, so he really will try to chew it).

Until then, Z
